Right now, there’s a growing effort to get AI to dream up cures for awful diseases. The president of Nvidia has even claimed that “digital biology” is going to be the “next amazing revolution” for artificial intelligence. The hope is that AI can point researchers toward new treatments they’d never have thought of on their own.
