Earlier this month, MIT CISR hosted a Hot Topic event for its members on Quantum for the Enterprise featuring Dr. Mekena McGrew, PhD. Hot Topic webinars are MIT CISR member events featuring leading-edge research findings from a variety of sources. Mekena, formerly a research scientist at HSBC and now a quantum lead at Deloitte, discussed the opportunities and risks of quantum technology, and described how HSBC developed and executed a strategy to capture near-term value from quantum applications and mitigate cyber risk across the Group. The webinar was presented twice for MIT CISR member convenience.
