This past week, the MIT Biotech Group kicked off the start of the Fall 2024 semester in spectacular fashion with an amazing keynote talk by Bruce D Walker, Director of the Ragon Institute of Mass General Brigham, MIT, and Harvard! We were inspired to hear about Dr. Walker's journey and his groundbreaking contributions to HIV research, and are grateful for his offer to host our kickoff event in the beautiful new Ragon Institute building. The MIT Biotech Group is one of the largest student organizations at MIT, and serves as MIT's premier connection to the biotech industry. Visit biotech.mit.edu to learn more about our group! Applications are open to join our leadership team! Apply to be an associate by 9/19. Link: https://lnkd.in/eSuwxnpQ

Excited to share that I got to present another poster at the MIT Biotech Group Life Sciences Poster Session. Its similar to my previous poster that I did a few weeks ago, but with some changes and improvements. Need to make my poster a little smaller next time! Thanks all that made this happen.

I enjoyed being back in Boston last week to host a pitch workshop in collaboration with the GSAS Harvard Biotech Club, to meet with students and affiliates of that community and MIT Biotech Group, and to catch up with our portfolio companies in the area. Thank you to the leadership of both organizations at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (including Binita Shah and Brandon Krupczak) and my amazing Pear PhD fellows Ami Thakrar and Gary Li for planning and support! It's always exciting to witness the density, vibrancy, and connectivity of the biotech ecosystem in Boston and Cambridge.
