As we celebrate a century of excellence, from 1924 to 2024, we invite you to join us in honoring the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department’s centennial. Please mark your calendars for two special events. On Friday, October 25, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., we will host a celebratory gathering with cake in the lobby of Emerson Hall to commemorate both the ECE centennial and the founding of HKN. Then, on Saturday, October 26, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., please join us at the Innovation Forum, Innovation Lab, for breakfast and a presentation by university historian Dr. Larry Gragg. This presentation "The Long Road to Success" will describe the history for approval of the EE degree and EE department at the Rolla campus. Tours of the HKN Student Project Laboratory and the W0EEE Radio Shack will be available on both days.
