“Champions behave like champions before they’re champions; they have a winning standard of performance before they are winners.” – Bill Walsh, Legendary Football Coach This is the quote that motivated the University of Missouri athletic staff to seek out a new, state-of-the-art practice facility designed from the ground up to elevate their football program into the future. Using Kingspan insulated metal panels, HOK designed the new Stephens Indoor Facility to become a practice and training facility that was large enough to mimic gameday details during all seasons of the year. The new $33 million practice facility features a full 100-yard football field with additional run-off distances beyond the end zones and along the sidelines. It also includes an upper mezzanine and a VIP premium indoor tailgating area. Kingspan’s BENCHMARK Designwall 2000 panels clad the 86,400-square-foot building.
