Mississippi Power is making valuable upgrades ? As part of our ongoing grid investment initiative, we’re taking Richton’s distribution system from 4kV to 12kV. This will bring residents one step closer to our self-healing network, and that means fewer and shorter outages in the future.

Thrilled to back the future of STEM! ?????? Mississippi Power is proud to sponsor the FIRST Robotics Competition Magnolia Regional and support 10 of our own local robotics teams. These talented students will compete with robotics teams from across the country and Mexico this week. Our dedicated employee volunteers are serving in various roles from judging and mentoring, to set up and safety. Together, we can encourage innovation and support the future generation of STEM students!

A Mississippi Power storm team of approximately 175 lineworkers, engineers, contractors and support personnel are headed east to support Alabama Power Company in getting the lights back on.
