With class sizes around 65, bankers build relationships with others from around the state while gaining skills and industry knowledge to help them further in their careers.

Congratulations to Jackson State University student Tykira Williams! Tykira was awarded the 2024 MYB Leadership Scholarship last week during the MYB Leadership Conference. Last week, over 40 Mississippi bankers participated in the annual MBA Washington Visit to meet with industry regulators and the Mississippi Congressional Delegation. Bankers advocated for their communities and discussed the top issues affecting each area of the state. Thank you to the bankers who made the time to make the visit on behalf of your communities and customers. In 2024, the MBA launched a new program specifically designed to help develop emerging bank leaders in Mississippi. The pilot course was a success and we are excited to bring it back. For 125 years, Hancock Whitney has been focused on making a difference in their communities. 19 years ago today, Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast.
