Women in Chemicals Conference 2024: In Her Element Currently having so many thoughts, feelings, and emotions that deserve a longer post which will come once I've had a chance to process more. For now, I want to share some of my favorite photos of the event and give my heartfelt thanks to all our attendees who showed up so authentically this week. This space was something I wanted and needed so many times throughout my career when I've felt lonely and isolated in what can be an old power industry. In these moments, I needed a peer network in the industry, I needed to feel a sense of belonging, and I needed more access to female role models. Seeing 370+ women come together to provide each other a deep sense of belonging and uplift each other this week has been both healing and immensely inspiring. I am forever grateful for each and every one of you who brought your magic and energy to make this event so special. To our WIC Team, I adore every single one of you immensely. Your enthusiasm, grace, and willingness to do the hard things inspires me daily. Expanding our leadership team was the best decision we've made these past three years, and the success of this event is thanks to the foundation we've built together. #BBIC Kylie Wittl, There are no words for this wild ride we've been on together. Thank you for always keeping the wheels on. Looks like we were on to something with the many "we'll get through it, we always do" we've shared with each other over the past year. I am a better friend, leader, and person because I have had the privilege to do this with you. For now, the Women in Chemicals team will take some much needed rest and recovery, and begin reflecting on how we can continue to elevate, empower, and drive meaningful change within the industry we love. What do you think—should we keep the magic going and run it back in 2025?
