Travel and Tourism is a tough industry. For “work”, we attended Ski Joring in Visit Leadville - Twin Lakes. So…much…fun! Over the past few years, Mission2Market worked with the event organizers and the Visit Leadville Twin Lakes team to bring in content creators, secure national media coverage and run a media campaign promoting the event and branding Leadville Twin Lakes as a unique destination. This amazing event is now at record attendance levels and on the radar of adventure seeking travelers as a must see experience. First weekend in March…check it out in 2026!

Yesterday, the US Senate passed the bipartisan Music Tourism Bill sponsored by CO and TN senators. The act will... 1) Leverage the existing framework within the Department of Commerce to highlight and promote music tourism in the United States. 2) Require the Assistant Secretary to implement a plan to support and increase music tourism for both domestic and international visitors; and 3) Require a report to Congress on the successes and vulnerabilities of the Assistant Secretary’s goals to increase travel and tourism. Mission2Market (M2M) applauds Senators John Hickenlooper of CO and Marsha Blackburn of TN for their efforts to support music tourism. M2M shares your passion for music and belief that music tourism is good for residents and visitors across the nation. M2M is currently working on three music tourism consulting projects in Colorado with the COLORADO MUSIC HALL OF FAME, Colorado Opera House Circuit and Visit Fort Collins, all made possible by Colorado Tourism Office grants.
