While Sister Alta was in MN, she was able to visit the Kindergarten students at Annunciation and share her experience and answer their questions about Haiti. The students loved learning more about Haiti!

As a lifelong member of the Annunciation Church and school, Julie was well-acquainted with Mission Haiti. However, it wasn’t until 2016 that she truly experienced the impact of this organization firsthand. That year, Julie had the privilege of visiting Haiti with her son Brendan. This journey opened her eyes to the remarkable love and care extended by Mission Haiti supporting babies, students, elders, and the sick, by proving education, medicine, food and scholarships to the young and old of Haiti. Mission Haiti Inc. Board of Directors is thrilled to welcome Julie Loney to the board!

As an Annunciation graduate Charlie grew up learning about the programs of Mission Haiti. He fondly remembers saving change in his blue piggy bank in grade school! Charlie had the opportunity to travel to Haiti in 2015 where he stayed with the missionaries of charity in Port Au Prince and helped with their programs there. On this trip Charlie also had the opportunity to visit annunciation school in leogone, the Bethlehem farm, and home for women. Charlie has also volunteered at many mission possible and wine and cheese events over the years. After a lifetime of involvement with Mission Haiti, Charlie is so excited to be joining the board!
