Jess is such an incredible mentor, teacher, clinician, and support system here at the Bloomsburg clinic. She brings so much joy to the clinic each and every day through her interactions with the kiddos, the encouragement she gives to staff, and the pure love she has for our spirit weeks! Jess has taken the lead on training our MAC Scholars, supporting case managers, and always being there to lend a hand or offer advice. The clients she serves have made incredible progress and she continuously makes the effort to ensure their days are meaningful and filled with exciting learning opportunities. Bloom wouldn't be the same without her, and personally, I wouldn't be the clinician I am without all her guidance. Thank you for everything that you do! Lea and Heather, BCBAs from our newly opened Lancaster clinic, recently represented MAC at the Berks County Intermediate Unit's Special Education Parent Resource Fair. The event helped provide information on important resources for families that include children or adults with disabilities. Kelsey is a very reliable staff member who I’ve had the pleasure of working with for my entire tenure at MAC. Kelsey is a strong BT who is able to generalize skills and interventions across many clients. Kelsey brings a positive attitude with her to MAC everyday and does a great job of being a leader to her fellow BTs by being willing to help out in whatever way she can. Tabitha has been a positive energy each and every day at Shamokin Dam. There has never been a task presented to her that she could not accomplish, and all while doing so with a smile. She initiates tasks without the need of direction. She is a self-starter! She has been considered the clinic "Mom", as she is a go-to person for support on the floor, to get a piece of gum or hair tie, or to be a person for emotional support. Tabitha quickly progressed from BT, to RBT, and to Senior RBT. She is a phenomenal RBT who has the skills to work with every single learner, and finds ways to build connections with each child. Every one of her sessions is maximized in learning opportunities and it's clear how much she cares about each learner. She also has gone above and beyond to create staff morale activities on a regular basis, including organizing potlucks, making a "boo" basket filled with goodies, keeping our Shout Out board up and running, and most importantly, has brought in therapy animals for our learners and staff (We love you Lenny and Speedy!). She creates a happy and safe place for our learners, and for her coworkers, in more ways than one. We are so thankful to have her a part of our team! We don't know what we would do without you! MAC had an amazing time at the Macaroni KID Frederick MD Spooktacular Trick or Treat hosted at Gaver Farm this past weekend!
