??@ARABOFZION?? *I did not choose to be born Arab. I did not choose my religion. I did not choose to be born into a Palestinian family. But I chose to be human. I chose to stand for truth. I chose to support Israel.* These are the words of @ArabofZion on Twitter. She goes on to say: *The only true apartheid in the Middle East is the treatment of Jews in Arab countries. But somehow, that doesn’t make the headlines. Israel built a society where Arabs and Jews live as equals let’s talk about that.*

  • ??COMMENTARY?? *The crimes against the Bibas family are indeed the symbol of the anti-civilizational menace that is Hamas—but also of the cowardice of the political and cultural leaders of the enlightened West. Yes, we should be ashamed of our fellow Americans, who not only won’t mention the Bibas family but won’t even learn the name of a single American hostage held in Gaza throughout the war.... Kfir’s face became a symbol of the conflict because it represented a line that had been crossed and cannot be uncrossed. Members of Congress giddily attended tentifada demonstrations that were no longer simply 'pro-Palestine' or 'anticolonial'; they were about defending those who stole Kfir from his home and dragged him to Gaza where, according to Hamas, he died. And it is impossible for the rest of us to pretend that we didn’t see a chunk of society, whether in person or online, rush to cross that line and cheer the people who kidnapped a baby.... Kfir is the war boiled down to its essence. Kfir is the dividing line. In a better world, there’d be no one standing on the wrong side of it.* https://lnkd.in/e4TDs6wM

??SUCCESSFUL MODERN STATE?? It's crucial to understand history but pointless to spend too long imagining a different present to now There are 10,000,000 Israeli citizens living peacefully together in one of the most advanced countries in the region, delivering technology and medical breakthroughs to the world. Anyone trying to destroy Israel has a problem with this successful modern nation. They generally have a problem because it flies in the face of what they believe to be the final revelation of G-d. Do some people have a problem reconciling what they believe to be the final revelation with the facts they witness in their own lifetime. Is their only recourse for their envy to hate what challenges their beliefs. That's worth examining.

  • ??TOP TWEET?? Two days after October 7, I was in Chicago with my wife and child. We were at Millennium Park, and I was sitting on a bench, speaking in Arabic on the phone with a friend. A woman with her kids sat down next to me, but the moment she heard me speaking, she grabbed her children and rushed away. I barely noticed at first, caught up in my conversation. Then my wife pointed it out: the woman was wearing a Star of David necklace. She heard Arabic and panicked. At that moment, Jewish people across the world were afraid, while mobs of terrorist sympathizers were already in the streets, screaming for Israel’s destruction, even before Israel had retaliated for the massacre. I was furious. I wanted to chase after her, to tell her she had nothing to fear from me, that I stood with Israel against Hamas and its barbarism. But I knew if I did, I might only frighten her more. This is the world we live in. Islamic Jihad exploits the so-called Palestinian cause to expand its control, and the Western left, blind, foolish, and self-righteous, acts as its willing pawn. Islamists have successfully terrorized Jews not just in Israel, but in Europe, in the U.S., even in the heart of Chicago. That is why people like me must stand in their way. Never again should a Jewish woman in America fear for her safety simply because she is Jewish. Not here. Not anywhere. And not on our watch. @Danburmawy

  • ??LIES?? It’s absolutely disheartening to realize that the story you’ve been fed for years was a lie. The truth is, Israel did what it had to do for the sake of survival. It's not a foreign colonial project. It's a survival project. Think about it, in 1948, every Arab nation declared war on Israel. At the same time, they expelled 850,000 Jews from their countries. Yes, they expelled them. Don't lie about it. There are plenty of Jews in non-Arab/Muslim lands. Now, imagine being a tiny nation, barely born, surrounded by existential threats, only three years after your people were being slaughtered in Europe. What would you do? Fast forward to 1967, same scenario. Israel won, offered peace, proposed multiple initiatives, and what did the Arabs say? No, no, no. The infamous Three No’s of Khartoum: No peace, no recognition, no negotiations. Then came 2000, another peace offer, another rejection. In 2005, Israel pulled out of Gaza, giving the Palestinians a chance to build a City State. And what do they do? Turn it into a terrorist base, that's what. Then October 7! So, tell us, what exactly is Israel supposed to do?

  • ??REFUGEES?? Some 5.5 million Syrian refugees were absorbed by neighboring countries, including Turkey, Egypt and Jordan, during the Syrian civil war. But none are offering to take a single refugee from Gaza. The hypocrisy is breathtaking — these nations profess concern for the Palestinians but won’t lift a finger to help them.

STOP PAWNING GAZANS Oh shut up Bowen. Listen to them. *We Palestinians have known killing and massacres, displacement and exile, wars and fleeing. We have known every form of suffering for over a hundred years. The disasters we have suffered were caused by our own brothers, our own people, who thought that riding the waves of nationality, nationalism, organizations and religion was the way to attain the longed-for homeland. However, those who preceded us in attaining this homeland were much more honest than we were in their affiliation with it, for they learned from history not to lie to themselves. They learned the lesson and established their state after thousands of years of exile. I am the displaced Palestinian refugee in the refugee camps of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and even Israel, wondering: what have I gained with my refugee certificate, other than for my children, and my family to wait for a little oil and flour? They want me to cling to this status. More precisely... the leaders of organizations like Fatah, Hamas, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad are the ones who want us to remain trapped in this identity. Many countries help them with this. Those who benefit from and trade in the Palestinian cause will not stop as long as we agree to be their tools and as long as we do not shed the garments they have dressed us in, especially the garments of the refugee. They want us to be refugees and beggars, while they, the masters, continue to enjoy the pleasures of life in Vienna and their children live in Dubai, Amman, and Paris, whereas our children live in the refugee camps. We are not refugees! We are human beings and our children are human beings. We want to live and want our children to live, build their future and make their way, far from the diseases of the past. We want to emerge from the alleys and tin shacks. We want to build a civilized society, rather than continue to drown in the mental and physical diseases of the refugee camps. If the first step [in this direction] is stopping the aid to UNRWA, then stop it. I, a Palestinian, thank Trump and hope he completes his plan to demolish all the refugee camps everywhere. My homeland, as a Palestinian, is wherever I can live. My homeland is where my children can enjoy a dignified life and a safe future, not where there is death, displacement and killing and where [we] wallow in the penury and the muddy alleyways of the refugee camps. Mr. Trump, I encourage you and demand that you continue. I am a Palestinian and I support you! If the solution necessitates moving the Gazans to other countries, as many of them long to do following the war, there is nothing wrong with that. Perhaps they will find countries that will allow them to live in dignity and stop being pawns sacrificed in political games that have nothing to do with life, but only with death. Mr. Trump, save us from the talons of death and from life as refugees. We support you.*

  • ZIONISM IS NOT COLONIALISM Zionism should not be viewed as colonialism. It should be viewed as a survival-driven national movement, an indigenous national movement, distinguished from imperialism because it embraces a return to an ancestral homeland. While it has parallels with other nationalist movements, it is unique in that it emphasizes Jewish historical claims and self-determination.
