Congratulations to our own Deanna Marquez on completion of the "Generative AI For Productivity" certificate program through Cornell! We are excited to see how the legal technology landscape will continue to be reshaped.
At the end of July I registered for a certificate program "Generative AI For Productivity" through Cornell. [Insert Andy Bernard joke here]. It has been quite the journey as I had forgotten how challenging it can be to juggle both work and school simultaneously. I initially registered because I felt as if I didn't have a firm grip on what AI really was, and related a little too well to this 1994 "What is the Internet Anyway?" clip. https://lnkd.in/g6ewEBAF Through this series of courses, I have learned so much about AI's capabilities/limitations, the law and ethics surrounding AI, and how to evaluate potential AI solutions responsibly. I also met and gleaned invaluable information from people across the country involved in a variety of fascinating fields as they shared about their AI journeys. Overall, I have a much stronger foundation to stand on as I continue to navigate the unchartered territory of AI. Grinding My Gears ... Can a company really say they care about customer service when they have: removed all phone numbers from their website, you are only allowed to contact your account manager through email, you can't open your own tickets (only a chat bot/agent can after you talk to them), and they offshore all their frontline support? And to make it even more fun, your account manager is a different person from your renewal manager, and you can count on both being new people every year. It shouldn't be an exercise in patience and sanity to get support. #msp #legaltech #helpdesk
