Had the great opportunity to tour the Strass wastewater treatment plant in Austria today with World Water Works, Inc. This facility was instrumental in the development of AVN, DEMON, and inDense technologies. The newest process to the facility is the AAA, Alternating Activated Adsoprtion, process which applies a flow-through sludge blanket that maximizes the redirection of organic carbon to the anaerobic digester. Which increases nitrogen & phosphorus removal while improving secondary treatment. Lastly the facility has breathtaking mountain views all around!
