Meet Carla Palmer, Our Pelvic Health Specialist! ?? ? We’re delighted to feature Carla, our dedicated pelvic health physical therapist specializing in comprehensive, holistic care. Her expertise covers a broad range of needs—from guiding athletes through restorative therapies to supporting postpartum mothers and addressing concerns for both male and female patients. Carla’s patient-first philosophy ensures each individual receives compassionate, tailored treatment to achieve their health goals. ? Dr. Carla Palmer graduated from Des Moines University in 2013 with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy (DPT). She has extensive experience in treating orthopedics and pelvic health conditions. Upon completion of 2,000 + hours of patient care in the specialty of pelvic health rehabilitation, Dr. Palmer was eligible to sit for the certification examination in 2022 and successfully completed this portion of her training to obtain the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC). She graduated from New Mexico State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology then obtained her PTA degree from El Paso Community College in 2023. In her free time, she loves reading, country dancing, and spending time with friends. Myka enjoys connecting with patients and helping people of all ages reach their best quality of life through physical therapy. Meet Kendra: Dr. Kendra Terrazas graduated with her clinical doctorate in physical therapy in 2014 from East Tennessee State University. After living and working in Las Cruces for a stint, she went on to complete a year long orthopaedic residency in northern California. Since graduating from her residency program in 2019, she has become a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist and continues to love working with patients of all ages and helping them achieve their goals in an outpatient setting. When she is not working, she loves spending time on her little farm, hiking, and traveling with her husband.
