54, count them; 54 safety awards presented to the Store Leaders of each location that had a clean safety record for the entire year of 2024. 70,000 customers visit the Minute Man Food Mart on a daily basis. Multiply that by 365 days in a calendar year that is 25.5 million visits where we have the opportunity to serve our customers with a greeting and a smile that may change someone's day. That is also a chance to have 25.5 million safety incidents during the year. from the slips, trips, and falls, to the ergonomic injuries, to the not paying complete attention to what one does. These store leaders are where the rubber meets the road in taking care of the employees, company, and the customers and to be able to present 86% of the retail locations with an award speaks greatly upon their leadership and the leadership above them. It was an evening full of festive fun, warm smiles, and the joy of the season shared with those who mean so much to us.
