Thank you to the Thompson Elementary School PTO in Arlington and the Plug In group from the Robbins Library in Arlington who handmade around 200 Valentine’s Day cards combined! The cards were delivered by our volunteer Meals on Wheels drivers along with the meals over the week of Valentine’s Day. These 2 groups have been making cards for us for many years, and we are grateful for their help in delivering a little extra Valetine's Day joy to our communities! ??

Yesterday, our Executive Director and Board President sent an email to those in our communities regarding federal funding. The recent news about federal funding freezes has raised concerns for many nonprofits, including Minuteman Senior Services. We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for our community's unwavering support during these challenging times and ask for your continued support. Funding for Medicare, Medicaid, and essential programs like ours is becoming increasingly unpredictable. Federal funding currently makes up about 3% of our annual revenue, yet disruptions could significantly impact those who rely on us daily. Though the immediate freeze was rescinded, the possibility of future restrictions remains very real. Will you donate today to help sustain our vital programs?
