Earlier this month, Jason and Staci were able to attend a Birthday Party celebrating {9 years} of the Fun Zone! The Fun Zone is located in the Armory gym at the Minot Auditorium on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am-noon throughout the winter months. During this time, the gym is filled with inflatables and riding toys, with plenty of space for kids to get their wiggles out while parents and guardians look on. The coolest part of this experience is that the Fun Zone FREE! Looking back over the years, this project idea from Minot Parks is definitely not the largest we've granted to, but it has made a big difference in the quality of life for some of our youngest residents! Fun Zone is the perfect example of "the dollar amount doesn't determine the impact."

The Minot Area Community Foundation (MACF) is excited to announce that the Minot Symphony Association has successfully met the $10,000 challenge grant issued in 2024 from MACF’s Chuck and Madge Westlie Fund. This milestone completed fundraising efforts for the purchase of a new set of Adams Professional Generation II Timpani. Jason Zimmerman, MACF President, stated, “We are thrilled to see the Minot Symphony Association reach this milestone. The community’s support of this challenge grant will ensure that the Minot Symphony Orchestra and many other local musicians have access to high-quality equipment for years to come.”

For the fifth consecutive year, Hess has partnered with the?North Dakota State Fair?(NDSF) in conjunction with?Minot Area Community Foundation?(MACF) to award scholarships to outstanding students involved in?National 4-H Council and?National FFA Organization?programs across the state. This year, we will award $50,000 in scholarships and grants that are available to North Dakota 4-H and FFA members with post-secondary plans to attend college or vocational schools to pursue careers related to the oil and gas industry or community support roles. ?
