The Minority, Women, Rural, Veteran & People with Disability Capital Foundation is committed to fostering inclusivity through strategic investments in women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, veterans, rural entrepreneurs, fund managers, and other underserved populations across the United States. Our funding strategy focuses on businesses and fund managers led by these individuals, as well as those dedicated to uplifting their communities. We see immense potential in companies that employ and empower these diverse groups. Our priority is to generate significant returns for our investors while creating meaningful social impact. Operating on principles of inclusivity and equity, we do not discriminate against any entrepreneur or fund manager. While our primary mission is to uplift underrepresented communities, we strive to ensure that all entrepreneurs have the opportunity to thrive, amplifying diverse voices and innovations in the process. At the Minority, Women, Rural, Veteran & People with Disability Capital Foundation, we believe that embracing diversity is not only a social imperative but also a sound business strategy. Our investment decisions are grounded in merit, as we view impact investing and diversity as pathways to unlock creativity, new projects, and markets that traditional firms may overlook. The combined buying power of minority markets in the U.S. exceeds $3.9 trillion, representing a significant portion of a larger global majority market that accounts for approximately 80% of the world’s population. Additionally, women control an estimated $31.8 trillion in global spending and represent 32% of the world’s wealth, amounting to $97 trillion. By tapping into these markets, we aim to unleash trillions of dollars into the global economy, creating a more equitable economic landscape for all those we support.

These women serve as revenue generators for families, communities, the nation and the global community as a whole. Wealthy women of color are known for their confidence in investing and making bold decisions. Their experiences, vision, and approach to leadership offer unique platforms for philanthropy, investments, and business operations. The fields of investment and finance are still markedly male-dominated ones:?only nine percent of fund managers in the United States were women, while in banking, women comprised less than a third of?senior vice president and C-suite positions and this shortage of visible role models only perpetuates the uneven dynamic between men and women, let alone women of Asian, Hispanic, African-American, indigenous and other minority descent, in the field both in the US and globally and is just as pronounced among investor financed female entrepreneurs. High net worth donors of color, and especially minority women entrepreneurs,?have been a “transformational change in social philanthropy, entrepreneurship and investing. Although women may represent a small number of the world’s ultra-high-net-worth investors, it is currently the highest it has ever been and that number will only continue to grow.
