Buzz ?? buzz! Have an achieving Monday everyone. Are you pondering ?? on what networking experience is best for you? If so, let me share a testimony with you. A little bird came to me this season to share their thoughts on the Diversity in Cannabis Experience Mixer. When they shared their perspective I about fell to the floor. To be completely honest, I knew the value, but I didn’t realize the impact it had on the community. So I’m sharing their thoughts: “Its more than a party. It’s a safe place…” It was that beginning phrase, that brought to me an AHA moment?? Sometimes, that imposter syndrome starts to kick my bottom and causes tunnel vision. But this testimony really made me rethink this year at MJBIZ. I’m ready! I’m ready to feel safe in this space with people who are brilliant, passionate, and empowering. I’m ready to step out of my comfort zone, take off the blinders, and shake hands with people I’ve only seen on screen and new individuals. To bee honest, I need the help and am welcoming community. So this post is more than a testimony, it’s a sentiment of how much I want to nurture fruitful relationships while building a more inclusive and diverse industry. Let’s do this. Together we can!
