Minnesota Vikings Football LLC is headquartered in Eagan, Minnesota. The Minnesota Vikings are one of the National Football League’s most established and recognized franchises. The team was founded in 1961 and branded the “Vikings” because it represented both the will to succeed and the proud Nordic tradition of the northern Midwest. With the leadership of the Wilf Family, who purchased the franchise in 2005, the team has undergone a major revitalization and rebranding, winning both on and off the field. Under their ownership, the team has captured the NFC North title four times, and advanced to NFC Championship games after the 2009 and 2017 seasons. In 2016, the Vikings celebrated the opening of U.S. Bank Stadium which was made possible through a unique public/private partnership. The venue’s state-of-the-art design, amenities for fans and sustainability initiatives have received numerous industry awards. In tribute to its innovative design, aesthetics, and originality, U.S. Bank Stadium was awarded Super Bowl LII. The Vikings moved into their new headquarters, Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, in March 2017. As a valued member of the community, the Vikings are known for their commitment to outreach and charitable work through the Minnesota Vikings Foundation and support for high school and youth football programs, wellness and nutrition. The Vikings organization prides itself on its competitive spirit, strong work ethic and civic involvement and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for its fan base around the world. The #Vikings and iHeartMedia Minneapolis’s?KFAN 100.3FM Sports Radio FM 100.3?and?Twin Cities News Talk 1130?have announced a seven-year extension renewing both stations’ broadcast rights of Vikings preseason, regular season and postseason games. The 2025 season will mark the 25th consecutive year KFAN Sports Radio FM 100.3 will serve as the flagship station for the Vikings Radio Network, one of the largest radio networks in the NFL. The National Football League (NFL) has announced its first-ever NFL London Games Ring of Honour ceremony, taking place during halftime festivities of the New York Jets-Minnesota Vikings game on Oct. 6 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The league will recognize two NFL Legends that have had an impact on the game: London-born, two-time Super Bowl champion Osi Umenyiora and five-time Pro Bowler Jared Allen.
