Our VISION is that people support and join the Minnesota trucking industry because it leads in safety, workforce development, and innovation. Our GOALS are: 1) SAFETY: Reduce preventable crashes on Minnesota roadways involving commercial trucks. 2) WORKFORCE: Minnesota has a workforce development program that produces and attracts qualified drivers and transportation professionals to meet the needs of Minnesota. 3) BUSINESS SUCCESS: Minnesota’s business climate promotes trucking industry success. 4) MTA LEADERSHIP: MTA is a model of association innovation and collaboration. Congratulations to our June 2024 MTA Driver of the Month, Steve Marohn, professional driver for MORRELL & MORRELL, LP. Steve has been driving truck for over 38 years and has driven over 4,600,000 miles! Steve has been at Morrell & Morrell for 35 years and is their longest tenured driver. “Anytime we have big, or special projects, he is one of the first ones on it,” said Safety Director, Tucker Morrell. “He has achieved our safety bonus 5 years in a row and won multiple awards with us. When we look to hire drivers, he is our standard.” Congratulations, Steve!
