Madison Connelly Community Impact Manager- "One of the best parts of my job is watching how much the Minnesota community embraces one another. I am not originally from here—just like many of our players and staff—but this community truly reaches out and includes everyone, regardless of their background. Here, everyone treats you like a neighbor, shows up for one another, and makes you feel like part of something special. Being a part of this community and the Timberwolves and Lynx family is truly a blessing. One of my favorite moments—which I see often—is when we highlight someone during a game. Whether it’s an active service member, veteran, patient, or community leader, they always receive a standing ovation from the crowd. Our fans feel like family, and watching them extend love and positive energy to those who deserve that moment of celebration never fails to bring tears to my eyes—no matter how long I’ve been doing this."?

Alisa Jang Human Resources Senior Coordinator- "My family and I are big Minnesota sports fans and grew up watching the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. One of my favorite moments was taking my parents to a game last season—it was their first time ever attending and sitting that close to the court. Seeing their faces light up throughout the game was priceless; their excitement was unforgettable. It was also AAPI Night, which made the experience even more special. Being involved in the planning and seeing other Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders featured on the big screens, along with our sponsors showing support, was incredibly meaningful. It’s a moment I’ll never forget, and I couldn’t have been prouder to witness such a strong display of AAPI representation."

This past Monday in honor of International Women’s Day, we were thrilled to attend a powerful panel discussion hosted by nVent’s Global Women’s Network as part of the Minnesota Lynx Changemakers platform.
