The New Lawyers Section got together last night for a frosty, fun evening at Xcel Energy Center. We enjoyed a CLE on gender equity in sports and law from retired Justice Margaret Chutich, then sat back to watch the Minnesota Frost face off against the Montreal Victoire. Judge Edward T. Wahl has been recognized with the Civil Litigation Section's Advocate Award. The Civil Litigation Section of the MSBA presents its annual Advocate Award to someone who has greatly improved the civil litigation system in Minnesota. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to the field through active service on committees, judicial education initiatives, and efforts to advance civil litigation.
