?? We are THRILLED to share this year’s gala video segment with you! Premiered at our annual gala event on Saturday evening, this year’s video features three incredible MICC participants! Julia, Cole and Cory are all at different points in their adult journey with MICC.? Julia is in the last semester of the College program and considering her next steps as she steps into her independence. Cole has been in MICC’s Community program since he graduated College in 2021. He lives with a roommate, enjoys MICC’s social activities and is looking for a new job. Cory graduated from the College program more than 20 years ago and has been working at Walgreens ever since. He enjoys his independence and loves to keep busy by serving customers at work and hanging out a MICC. All three have gained confidence, embraced their independence and found a community where they can be their authentic selves. As we learn more about them, we see how MICC meets each individual where they’re at to help them achieve their goals. Check it out! A big thank you to Red Mood Marketing and SuperBird Studios! And Walgreens! MICC provides transformative education and training for autistic and neurodivergent adults to live independently, work purposefully and thrive in community. Here, participants accomplish things they never imagined, from daily living tasks — like taking public transit and managing finances — to building and sustaining a career, a support system and lifelong relationships.
