We’re thrilled to have been part of the big reveal for the Minnesota Timberwolves' 2024-25 City Edition uniform! From ice thrones to sculptures, it’s always a joy to help bring ideas and visions to life. Huge kudos to Bailey Wallner (Alto) and the Timberwolves team for creating such an incredible story—can’t wait to see what’s next! #MinnesotaTimberwolves #MinnesotaIce #CityEditionUniform
The last week has been a whirlwind as we unveiled our 2024-25 City Edition uniform. This year's uniform completes a two-year story arc, which took us from summer lake life last season to the beauty of ice-covered lakes this season. This moment was over 2 years in the making, and our creative team did a phenomenal job bringing the story to life across our uniform and court designs, which countless other folks then brought to life across social, web, in-arena, retail and many other spaces. My team's piece of the puzzle was developing complementary activations to delight our staff and fans, further tell the uniform's story, and create a deeper connection with the Timberwolves. A few highlights: ? Surprising staff on the day of the unveil with a real ice throne in the lobby that morning (shout out to Minnesota Ice), a staff gift (shout out to BDA, LLC), and snow cones in the afternoon (shout out Minnesnowii Shave Ice) ? An Anthony Edwards City Edition mural on the side of Modist Brewing Co., created by local artist Rock Martinez ? A Naz Reid billboard across from The Loon in downtown Minneapolis, designed by Taylor Lather ? Another ice sculpture in the Target Center lobby on the day of our first City Edition wear for fans to pose with ? A full arena giveaway of City Edition jersey rally towels to complement the new uniform and court It's so exciting to finally have all this work out in the world - time to start planning for 2025-26!
