GREAT NEWS! Today, Hennepin County became the ninth of 10 geographic areas in #Minnesota to functionally end veteran homelessness!? ? Effectively ending veteran homelessness – a certification from the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH), the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs – doesn't?mean veterans do not experience homelessness, but when they do, the?system is prepared to quickly respond and connect veterans to housing and the supports needed to sustain it.? ? “Minnesota is committed to providing the best services and care for our veterans. Today we are one step closer to becoming the fourth state in the country to end veteran homelessness,”?said Governor Tim Walz.?“This wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated team at the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) and those across Hennepin County working tirelessly to meet the needs of every veteran. I extend my gratitude to everyone who has worked to bring us closer to achieving this goal.”? ?? We’re a mission-focused financial institution looking for a Preservation Supervisor who will provide direction and support to the Publicly Owned Housing Program (POHP), Rental Rehabilitation Deferred Loan Program (RRDL), Request for Action (RFA) teams as well as the High- Rise Sprinkler System program.?RFAs are loan servicing requests that include, but are not limited to changes in ownership, changes in use, payoffs, debt restructuring, and assumptions and subordinations of Agency loans on existing rental housing projects. The Preservation Supervisor will also guide the work of the POHP and RRDL team and High-Rise Sprinkler System program on issuing Request for Proposals (RFPs) for funding, program guide development, technical assistance, selecting and underwriting projects. The Preservation Supervisor works with the Underwriting Manager, Assistant Commissioner of Multifamily, and the Assistant Commissioner for Policy on implementing new preservation programs.

This position is part of the 10-person MF Programs Team that coordinates several of the state and federal capital funding programs that help to produce affordable rental housing across the state. This position will lead the implementation and management of the federally appropriated HOME American Rescue Plan (ARP) program. This position will also provide program support to the federally appropriated HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) and National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) programs; state appropriated Workforce Housing Development Program (WHDP); and state and federal programs as needed.
