To that end, we are committed to developing, growing and promoting Minnesota's Children's Advocacy Centers and multidisciplinary teams. The Minnesota Children's Alliance strongly believes that the combined professional wisdom and skill of a multidisciplinary team approach results in a more complete understanding of case issues and the most effective child-focused and family-focused system response possible. Multidisciplinary teams include law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, medical, mental health, advocacy and Children's Advocacy Center staff. As the state's leading resource on child abuse issues, the Minnesota Children's Alliance remains current on important research and best practices, ensuring that information is disseminated to professionals working in the child abuse field. The Minnesota Children's Alliance ... helping communities provide safe, nurturing and healthy environments so all children and families can grow and thrive.

We're making steady progress toward our #gtmd2024 goal -- can you help us get there? Together, we help kids and families heal. One caregiver told us: "I went through a similar experience [as a child], and I wish there [had been a CAC] because it wouldv'e been very helpful." https://lnkd.in/gQb6JuYU

Every year, 3,000 children in Minnesota find hope and support at a Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) after disclosing or reporting abuse. A safe, welcoming place to talk can be life-changing for children and their families as they begin the healing process. Give today: https://lnkd.in/gQb6JuYU #gtmd2024

CACs take a team approach to supporting families every step of the way. Advocates connect families to resources such as mental health support and safe housing and help them navigate the often confusing, legal process. Medical and mental health providers use trauma informed care to age children on their journey to healing. https://lnkd.in/gQb6JuYU #GTMD2024
