For 50 years, we’ve worked at the legislature, in the courts, and with public agencies to enact, strengthen, and enforce smart environmental laws. MCEA is the leading legal voice protecting Minnesota’s environment, with deep organizational expertise that includes some of the foremost environmental law and policy professionals in the state. We work on many different issues, especially water, land use & transportation, clean energy, natural resources, and mining. Check out MCEA staff's gardens, harvests, and ice hockey. This week, we shared photos from our own backyards to show what helps inspire our work. We're proud we were part of the coalition that shut down a foundry in South Minneapolis, helping people breathe clean air in their own backyards. Please help us meet our $40,000 match for Minnesota's annual giving holiday, Give to the Max Day. Donate today to double the impact of your dollar and help us continue protecting our shared air, water, and climate. https://lnkd.in/e-nunT9 This summer was the first time in 100 years that East Phillips residents were able to open their windows, sit on their porches, and bike along the Greenway without breathing in hazardous air and pollution. This doesn’t happen without everyone doing their part. It’s what your support makes possible. While it now seems certain our federal government will try to turn the clock back on our environmental future, we’ve seen what’s possible when we come together to fight for our own backyards. This is our Minnesota, and we’re protecting it together.
