MABL Pathways Program: Year Two Applications Now Open! The Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL) Pathways Program is excited to launch Year Two of our pioneering initiative, designed to prepare a select group of distinguished students for success in law school and the legal profession. This transformative program provides classroom instruction, field trips, peer mentoring, and academic counseling to equip students with the tools they need to thrive in legal education and beyond. We are pleased to announce that applications are now open as of February 14, 2025, and will remain open until March 14, 2025. The program will run from April 5 to June 19, 2025. We invite our MABL community—members, supporters, and partners—to help spread the word and encourage eligible students to apply. With gratitude and respect, the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers (MABL) extends our deepest condolences for the loss of Albert Goins. Albert’s dedication to supporting civil and human rights has left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His unwavering commitment to justice and equality will be greatly missed. Albert was not only a pillar of our legal community but also a beacon of hope and inspiration. His tireless efforts to ensure justice and equality for all have profoundly impacted countless lives. He was a mentor, a friend, and a role model whose passion for advocacy and justice resonated deeply with everyone he encountered. Albert was a long-standing and beloved member of MABL. He epitomized MABL's mission to support civil and human rights. His legacy of advocacy, love, and dedication to justice will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
