===================== Partner with us to champion a sustainable future: https://lnkd.in/gUTQRSuw ===================== Batteries are an exceptional asset for humanity and will enable the energy transition. However, with the demand for lithium projected to reach 1,095 kilotons by 2035 and anticipated supply shortfalls, supply is expected to be 432 kt, so sustainable solutions are imperative. But there's a solution: Battery Recycling. Battery recycling emerges as a key strategy, reducing carbon footprints by up to 75% compared to traditional mining and refining processes. By embracing recycling, we mitigate environmental impact and decrease import dependency. At MiniMines, we specialize in transforming battery waste into valuable resources. #MiniMines #BatteryRecycling #LithiumBatteryRecycling #EVBatteryRecycling #SustainableFuture #CircularEconomy #EwasteRecycling #OneMoreEffort #RecyclingSolutions

Advancing Circular Economy through Sustainable Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions. HYBRID-HYDROMETALLURGY? at the core.
关于我们
A sustainable and efficient Li-Ion battery recycling clean-tech solution. Mini Mines is a part of a revolution in the electric vehicle ecosystem to create a circular economy for energy storage devices (Li-Ion), which includes sourcing and collection of the spent batteries and recovery of precious battery-grade materials. The complete ecosystem is based on advanced research and environment sustainable processes. Our proprietary HYBRID-HYDROMERALLURGYTM process extracts rare elemental compounds like Nickel, Cobalt, Lithium, and Manganese in their respective salts with pure copper and alumina with spherical graphite from mineral-rich "BlackMass" which can be directly utilized in the manufacturing of new Li-Ion cells.

By 2035, it's projected that 86% of electric vehicle (EV) batteries will reach the end of their life, totaling approximately 7,850 kilotonnes (kt) globally. Typically, an EV battery's "first life" lasts 8 to 12 years, maintaining about 80% of its usable capacity. Even after this period, the battery retains 75-80% of its usable capacity, making it suitable for secondary applications or recycling. If you're an EV financer this is how you can bring about a positive change. Transforming waste into valuable resources—Mini Mines champions the power of second chances. India generates a staggering 2 million tonnes of e-waste annually, ranking fifth globally after the US, China, Japan, and Germany. Unfortunately, only a tiny fraction of this e-waste is currently being recycled. In 2016-2017, India recycled only 0.036 MT of e-waste. At Mini Mines, we are committed to our mission to recover critical minerals from end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, creating mineral circularity and driving India toward an Atmanirbhar Bharat. By creating a sustainable supply chain, we are reducing dependence on raw material imports and contributing to a greener future. By giving batteries a second life, we are giving our planet a second life. Lithium shortages loom as global EV adoption accelerates. With 2 billion EVs required by 2050 for net zero, lithium supply is under pressure due to surging demand and concentrated production in water-stressed regions. Over 50% of lithium mining occurs in areas facing severe water shortages, further straining ecosystems. While future innovations may ease these challenges, adopting sustainable practices like battery recycling is vital for resource conservation and environmental resilience. Our Hybrid Hydrometallurgy recycling process helps save 84% water with our low-energy sustainable solution.
