So yes, we should still look at typical sources of funding to replace USAID money e.g. governments in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia (beware of China) and Foundations. ?????? ???????? ?????????????? ???? ?????????? ????????-?????????? ???????????? ?????????? ???? ?????????????????? ?????? ???????? ???????????????? ???? ???????? ???????? ???????????? ?????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????? ?????? ???????? ???? ???????????????????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???? ???????????????? ????????????????. We are proud to announce that Mindset-PCS (People-Centered Solutions) have been awarded the “Forward Together” Grant in Memory of Vivian Silver Capacity Building through Gender Mainstreaming. Using this grant MINDSET-PCS are launching a Gender Mainstreaming Enhancement Program for SID Members. Through this initiative, we will assess current capacities, identify good practices, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance gender mainstreaming efforts. The expected outcomes of the program include improved understanding of gender mainstreaming, enhanced programming among SID members, and ultimately, better outcomes for the communities they serve. This grant is a tribute to the legacy of Vivian Silver, a Canadian-Israeli peace activist and women's rights advocate. Vivian's life was dedicated to promoting gender equality, social justice, cross-cultural cooperation, and shared society. Her contributions spanned decades, from founding the United Kibbutz Movement’s Department for Gender Equality to championing peace-building initiatives between Israelis and Palestinians through the Negev Institute for Strategies of Peace and Development (NISPED). She was also deeply involved with Women Wage Peace, tirelessly working towards human rights and regional dialogue in the Middle East.?Vivian was murdered in her home in Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7th.?We join in the deep sorrow of her children and family, and embrace them to our hearts. This collaboration honors Vivian’s lifelong commitment to peace and equality, and we look forward to building on her vision to create lasting impact.
