Minds Matter of Chicago is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success. Students join Minds Matter as sophomores, undertaking a three-year program of one-on-one mentoring and rigorous academic tutoring. Our students receive valuable resources such as coaching in writing, critical thinking, and math. We also provide SAT test preparation, leadership development, and life skills training. Our goal is to prepare students with the skills needed to succeed in today's competitive college and university system. We guide our students every step of the way through the college admissions process, and help their families navigate the complicated process of applying for financial aid and scholarships. 100% of Minds Matter of Chicago graduates have been accepted to four-year universities, many at leading institutions and all with substantial funding packages.

We do this through intensive group academic instruction, personalized mentoring, and summer enrichment programs. Program Director -Effectively implement weekly curriculum provided by the organization.? -Drive accountability with mentors for their own attendance and attendance/performance of their mentees -Drive accountability with mentors for their own attendance and attendance/performance of their mentees -Lead mentor huddles to provide feedback and guidance to mentors with questions or concerns -2-3 hours every Saturday while sessions are held (30 weeks during the academic year) IT Director: -Monitor and deliver on volunteer IT needs -Build and maintain infrastructure for internal organization and communication, including intranet and/or Google shared platforms -Website Editing -Nice to have: experience with Google Admin Console, Fresh Desk, WordPress VMT Director: -Create/update recruiting content -Prepare content for, schedule, and present at company-specific information sessions -Coordinate and execute interviews -Schedule and coordinate events throughout the year, aiming for at least 3
