During last week's school vacation week, Minds Matter Boston tried something new: an intensive week-long SAT boot camp! For four days, sophomores engaged in test prep from 9 AM to 3 PM. Yes, you read that right! Where they could have spent the break kicking back at home, our students were hard at work learning content and mastering new skills, preparing them to take the SAT next year as juniors. A big thank you to our instructors for their support and expertise. And, appreciation to @YearUpUnited for sharing their space! Even more, a shoutout to our students for making the week a true milestone in their college application journey. Gliding into unforgettable memories and celebrating BIG wins! Last weekend, our mentors and mentees hit the ice for a fun-filled day of skating. Laughter, teamwork, and a few wobbly moments made it a day to remember. Swipe for smiles, spins, and moments on ice! The excitement doesn’t stop there: our seniors have started receiving college acceptances! So far, they’ve applied to 163 unique colleges, submitted 516 applications, and received 145 acceptances. We’re so proud to celebrate their achievements and cheer them on as they reach new heights. The 129th Boston Marathon is a few months away, and we're excited to announce our 2025 Boston Marathon team! Professional networking can feel daunting, but practice makes progress! We held our first networking mixer for our college students, and it was AWESOME! Our volunteers came through as always, bringing friends along who shared candid insights about their career paths. Our students came ready to learn, and as expected, seized the opportunity to share their experiences and connect with professionals confidently, putting their networking skills to the test. The event was a huge success! Students walked away with newfound networking confidence and connections that will open doors to future opportunities.
