    It was a true honor today to be in conversation with Tish Archie Oliver, MBA, CCDP, CDR, PRC, Chief Inclusion & Belonging Officer at Gap, Inc., for our Q3 Leaders' Lounge event for attendees across the Mindr network. Tish and I discussed strategies for cultivating a growth mindset individually and across teams, and maintaining that mindset even when times get tough.     Grateful and humbled to be featured today in Entrepreneur Magazine, sharing some advice on how to get the most out of mentorship. My two top suggestions: ?? Take a broad view as to who can be a mentor to you - sometimes the greatest lessons come from the least expected places. ?? Do your part to cultivate an environment where it is safe to try, fail, receive and implement feedback, and keep right on building. I was asked to point to a mentor who best exemplified this second part in my own career to date and wrote about Philip Kerr and his “broad shoulders.” By this he meant that he would shield his juniors from the external consequences of their mistakes by taking accountability on their behalf, while giving clear and kind feedback behind the scenes. Thank you Philip for everything you taught me, which was a lot about patent litigation but even more about leadership, collegiality, and the path to success.
