Fun fact: A recent survey found that 95% of workers would let AI avatars perform admin tasks in meetings for them. While there are still (understandable) concerns around trust and accuracy, it points to a shifting mindset in how people want to work – prioritizing efficiency, delegation, and freeing up time so we can focus on higher value things. But there's another angle to this that I don't think is getting enough attention... How AI is enabling more personalized and human-like interactions with our software and devices. I don't know anyone who enjoys learning a new app or trying to figure out how to integrate it into their day-to-day workflow. Now, AI can help with that problem, and the best part is, there's no reason why that experience can't be FUN! That's why we were so excited to announce our partnership with Portalis AI to bring our AI agents to life with customizable 3D avatars. It's a big step in our mission to build more intuitive, human-centric technology that's a joy to use, but also delivers real value – turning complex interactions into simple, meaningful experiences that actually make people's work and lives easier. I have more thoughts on how AI avatars will transform our digital experiences in the coming years, which you can read at the link below. Are you ready to adopt your own AI buddy to help you work better? Would love to hear your thoughts. #AI #DigitalTransformation #EntertainmentTech #FutureOfWork #EnterpriseAI

Are you ready for the Post-App Era? Today, The Verge reported that a quarter of new code at Google is now generated by AI (I put a link to the story in the comments). Think about where that takes us. We are racing toward a (very near) future where AI will generate applications and digital experiences for you in real-time. All you'll have to do is tell it what you want or need and it'll whip it up on the fly. What this capability will unlock for the future of entertainment is profound. I have some thoughts, which I've shared in my latest post. #FutureOfEntertainment #AI #Innovation #MediaAndEntertainment #PostAppEra #NoCode

Consumer AI Tools Aren’t Built for Enterprise Needs TL;DR:?We talk with SME executives daily, and the challenges are clear: some are hesitant to adopt GenAI due to uncertainty, while others are using it but are struggling to measure its business impact. The common thread? Most haven’t been introduced to AI solutions?specifically designed for enterprise needs. The future of work?in industries like sports, media, and entertainment depends on adopting enterprise AI solutions. As companies embrace these technologies, those relying on consumer tools risk falling behind. Here are the key differences?to consider when evaluating AI solutions: Effortless Integration: Enterprise AI needs to integrate with internal and external platforms, automating workflows and ensuring smooth operations across all systems. Enterprise-Grade Security: Protecting sensitive data is a top priority, and enterprise AI needs to offer encryption and compliance, which consumer AI lacks. Tailored Solutions: Unlike consumer tools, enterprise AI needs to be customized for industry-specific tasks, such as media production and sports analytics. Scalability and Ease of Use: Despite its complexity, enterprise AI must be user-friendly, allowing businesses to scale without disruption. It's time for companies to rethink their AI strategy. If you still use consumer AI for enterprise needs, now is the time to pivot. #AI #EnterpriseAI #FutureOfWork #MediaTech #EntertainmentTech

What does this story about BG3 mods have to do with AI? Gaming has been showing us what the future of entertainment will look like for decades. And that future is driven by fans as creators, serviced by brand IP, and made possible by artificial intelligence. Nearly 30 years ago, a groundbreaking game called Ultima Online was released. Many thought it was too ambitious, but its effect on the future of entertainment experiences was profound. It not only unlocked entirely new business models for games, it also introduced concepts like player-driven economies, emergent gameplay, persistent worlds, live development and community events. Today, wildly popular sandbox games like Fortnite and Roblox, along with immersive open-world titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur's Gate 3, are pushing these concepts to new levels. Outside of gaming, the shift to a UGC-dominant future is clear with the explosive success of TikTok and YouTube. But soon, even TikTok will face challenges as AI takes hold and fans unlock the full potential of what this transformational technology can really do. The hard-lines that have traditionally separated interactive and passive experiences are vanishing. And soon — as adoption of immersive formats like AR & VR accelerates (which it will) — the screens and walled gardens that content typically exists within, will also evaporate. AI is supercharging the ability for brands and entertainment companies to extend the reach of their IP, dramatically enhance engagement, and seamlessly connect audience experiences across formats. But to stay competitive, companies must move quickly, because the fans, creators, and technology aren't going to wait around. Hit me up if you want to learn more about how Mind Over Media is making this future possible. #ai #aiagents #entertainment #emergingtechnology #games #brands

No. This is not the future of enterprise AI management. Have you tried explaining to non-technical people what tokens are and how to price usage with them? I'm pretty technical, and thinking about tokens makes MY head hurt. ?? We now have the ability to summon amazing images and generate incredible insights from massive data sets with simple conversation. AI has significantly abstracted away the complexity of those tasks by helping us translate basic human language into machine language. Think about that. We can now communicate with our devices and applications the same way we communicate with our human colleagues. THAT is the future of enterprise AI management. #JustSaying #AI #Innovation #EnterpriseAI #DigitalTransformation #KnowledgeManagement VentureBeat Andy Anderson Mind Over Media

I love this piece. I don't think there's enough conversation happening around the importance of knowledge management in the era of AI. I’m going to take it a step further though. Every company—not just brands—needs to build a central "brain" — a persistent, comprehensive, and ever-evolving knowledge graph that encodes all of the organization's foundational elements. A big source of anxiety surrounding AI right now—including issues of bias, reliability, trustworthiness, and security—stems from the narrow focus of most solutions hitting the market. These tools often prioritize solving very specific use cases without addressing the unique needs of the companies, teams, and the people affected by these systems. It's crucial to understand that AI isn't just another piece of software to slap into your company's tech stack. The word "intelligence" is included in the term for a reason. These are intricate, goal-oriented, decision-making systems. Their capabilities extend far beyond simple data processing—they can autonomously perform complex tasks like driving cars and generating “original” works of art. They learn, adapt, and even talk to us now using natural language. But, despite their advanced capabilities, AI systems need the same support and management structures that humans do. They must be thoughtfully and carefully integrated into existing organizational frameworks to be most effective and build trust. As we rocket toward autonomous agents, it is imperative that companies establish an AI infrastructure that puts its goals, values, and people at the center. This will be crucial to ensure that any AI system it employs—whether developed in-house or licensed from third parties—is working with the best interest of the company (and its people) in mind. Not the other way around. Like any good HR department, this central governing system will connect AI systems to more than just data. It will provide specialized training to understand how to interpret and use the data. It will outline clear objectives so success and progress can be measured. It will define policies to govern how the organization expects its data and tools to be used. Additionally, it will connect AI workers with other colleagues (human and digital) so they can enhance skills and become more effective in their roles. When executives ask me where to begin with AI, I tell them a great starting point is using it to understand how employees want AI to support them. Beyond its role in day-to-day operations, AI can serve as a powerful tool for gathering and analyzing employee feedback. It has the capability to conduct company-wide conversations, thoroughly analyze responses, and generate actionable insights. These insights can then be used to form the first layer of the intelligent operational core that will guide and sustain your organization well into the future. #AI #KnoweldgeManagement #DigitalTransformation Andy Anderson Christian J. I’m gonna date myself a bit with a reference to my all-time favorite TV series, but— Remember how in the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Buffy realized the only way to defeat the First Evil was to make every potential slayer an actual slayer? Well, that’s pretty much what’s happened to the entertainment industry. Major labels, networks, and studios, which have led for decades, now find themselves competing with independent creators. Creators who spend next-to-nothing on content while engaging Super Bowl-level audiences daily. As traditional companies remain stubbornly conventional, audiences are flocking to platforms where creators are using tech to connect more personally with fans while delivering more authentic and timely content. The creator economy is projected to grow 92% (from $250B - $480B) by 2028. But I think AI will pour rocket fuel into that growth engine. Especially since AI is about to give every potential creator serious superpowers. Soon, spinning up an AI team to support content development, production, marketing, and audience engagement will be as easy as signing up for Netflix. So, what role do labels, studios, and networks play in this new world? AI is creating serious existential problems for an industry still reeling from the fallout of the Streaming Wars. But the IP issue is easily one of the most urgent—considering it’s arguably the most valuable thing the majors have left. But, a quick glance at TikTok or YouTube reveals how the new generation feels about IP. My YouTube home page is filled with AI-generated videos like "AVENGERS - 1950s Super Panavision". And they're quite good! Is fighting creators or trying to slow technology's progress really the answer? Billions are spent each year on “brand protection,” but how is that sustainable in a creator-driven economy supercharged by AI? Maybe the better approach is to stop fighting creators and start SERVICING them. We have the tech to build dynamic, AI-enforced licensing models. Instead of limiting IP usage, companies should use AI to open their IP to creators, empowering them to expand its reach and use it in innovative ways. AI can monitor IP use in real-time, ensuring compliance with licensing terms while identifying collaboration opportunities. Instead of spending billions to stop fans from doing what they’ll do anyway, why not turn potential infringements into revenue-generating collaborations? There's no putting the genie back in the bottle. The autonomous AI workforce will emerge sooner than most anticipate, bringing exciting possibilities with it. But to thrive in this future, companies—and the entire entertainment industry—must build the infrastructure to support it. It's no small feat, but achievable with a sound strategy in place. How is your company approaching this challenge? #AI #Entertainment #Technology #Innovation #DigitalTransformation #BusinessStrategy #ConsumerExperiences Andy Anderson Julian Warshaw Jimmy Mikaoui
