The road to Davos kicked off at London, where as an Expert member of the #WEF for 10 years now, I was invited to do a keynote on Davos at the UK Parliament's UK House of Lords, by Baroness Manzila Uddin, Chair of the APPG on the Metaverse & Web 3.0. Many thanks to Balbir and Professor Yu Xiong CEng PhD. ??#Davos week started on #Monday with the inaugural #Davos #Welcome #Reception 2024 on the #Promenade jointly hosted by Mindfulness Capital and my company #Blue #Hat #Founders, MCed by Thomas Ao, Geoff Pritchard and yours truly, where we introduced Mindfulness Capital's unique contribution model and solid track record of backing very successful #Web3 companies early, as they look to scale and back a new generation of Web3 champions. This much sought after invite-only private event, which was not advertised anywhere, was full to the brim, and we thank all our honourable guests for attending. ??The same day I had the honour and privilege of chairing and moderating the inaugural DWF Labs CRYPTO2030 Panel titled "The Defi Ecosystem: DEXs, Lending Platform, Derivatives" with amazing panellists, Krzysztof Gogol (UZH Blockchain Center), Piers Ridyard (RDX Works Ltd) and Marcel Robert Harmann (Crypto Valley Association), where we comprehensively discussed the state and future of #DeFi. Many thanks to my dear friend Stefano for the invitation and the fantastic organisation of #Crypto2030 and Rob Holub for being an excellent MC. ??Tuesday, I was?a panellist on the unDavos Summit's 'AI in Action' panel chaired by my good friend, Rhett Power of Forbes, with fellow eminent panellists, Behshad Behzadi, VP of Google, Hossein Rahnama, Professor at MIT Media Lab and Alisa Cohn. We discussed the state of the AI and how fast it was taking over, and what the world would potentially look like in 5 years from now. Many thanks to dear friend Mark and the awesome unDavos team for an amazing summit. ??Then it was time for the inaugural Blockchain Founders Capital?#Web3 #Investor Gathering organised by my good friend, the amazing Sagar. The event featured engaging and discussions over a delightful lunch with a veritable set of stars from the Web3 world. ??After lunch it was off to one of the highly desired invites in Davos this year, the first ever live interview of #Sam #Altman at Davos, at Bloomberg #House. Sam talked in detail about OpenAI's plans and that famous November week to a packed audience of heavyweights, including Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of Ripple. Many thanks to my friends at Bloomberg for the invitation and ring-side seat.
