Key themes that emerged through the companies reviewed by our selection committee: ? 80% had a sustainability focus ? 50% systems based solutions ? 30% introduced alternative materials ? 30% targeted housing affordability ? 40% were led by female founders Here’s a look at this year’s winners: ? Feeling so inspired by the startups and community who came to our 2nd NYC Climate Tech Demo night! Standing room only to see 5 of the most innovative startups in the ecosystem. From diamonds made from captured carbon, to solid-state heat pumps, carbon tracking in the buildings supply chain, indoor carbon capture, and ultra-intelligent wildfire management- it was so much fun seeing your innovation live on stage.
