National Parent Involvement Day is November 21! To honor our families, schools were asked to identify a strong parent or guardian from their child's school. The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works Forestry Division celebrated National Apprenticeship Week by highlighting the value of skilled trades. On November 18th, an event at Vincent High School showcased various stages of Arborist apprenticeship programs. These programs equip apprentices with essential skills for managing and maintaining urban forests, contributing to environmental sustainability.

MPS First Nations Studies students from recently attended a Graphic Recording Workshop at Marquette University. This unique opportunity allowed them to dive into the world of visual note-taking and learn how to capture key ideas and stories through powerful imagery.
