Tito Campbell, a master’s student in accounting, shares his experience attending Millsaps College, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree. "Millsaps has become my home," he says, "and I don’t want to be uprooted from it." Tito appreciates the professors at Millsaps, noting that they genuinely care about students' success and actively help them secure jobs after graduation. He believes that Millsaps graduates often start their careers at reputable firms. "At Millsaps, we can build relationships everywhere—with other students, faculty, and even the people in the cafeteria," he explains. Tito has developed a strong bond with the cafeteria staff, often discussing life’s challenges with them. "Everyone here helps you out," he adds, "and that’s what makes Millsaps unique." As a student, Tito faced challenges in difficult subjects but overcame them by reaching out to professors for extra help. He highlights that professors are readily available during office hours, and many even respond to late-night emails. This accessibility, he believes, is one of Millsaps’ greatest resources because professors have the expertise to guide students through problems. Studying for his MACC degree is also helping Tito prepare for the CPA exam. He currently interns at the Mississippi Office of the State Auditor, which covers his tuition. He credits Dr. McClain for encouraging him to apply for this internship and for offering guidance in his auditing class to support his CPA preparation. Tito also speaks highly of Dr. Bergeron, whose classes he finds well-organized and engaging. "Dr. Bergeron is very structured," he says. "She creates videos on key topics and uses accounting games to make learning fun."
