?? In environmental markets tied to complex agricultural value chains, how can we move beyond paper attestations to ensure traceability and exclusivity in emissions and environmental attributes? How do we collectively enhance the integrity of the transactions and marketplaces where these attributes and emissions are bought and sold? And, how do we preserve the privacy of sensitive geographic data and competitive information, while promoting market transparency and collective action? Introducing METI. ?? Through MillPont's Environmental Trust Infrastructure (METI), Members assign each Environmental Attribute Claim/Certificate (EAC) a Secure Source Identifier (SSID), creating a unique and addressable digital statement that maps exclusivity over a geographic area for a specific time and attribute type. This SSID guarantees that only one verified claim is active at any given time, and if overlap arises, the METI Source Ledger flags the conflict until it’s resolved through a consistent and controlled process, protecting the integrity of environmental claims and promoting transparency in a secure way. Our privacy-by-design approach keeps sensitive geographic information protected, so stakeholders can have confidence in the transparency of the system without compromising confidentiality. And by making METI scalable, affordable, and frictionless, we’re setting new standards for credibility and accountability in the climate space. ?? Millpont is aware of an issue impacting Virtual Machines running Windows Client and Windows Server, running the CrowdStrike Falcon agent, which may encounter a bug check (BSOD) and get stuck in a restarting state. According to the most recent statement by Crowdstrike: Windows hosts which are brought online after 0527 UTC will not be impacted. Hosts running Windows 7/2008 R2 are not impacted. This issue is not impacting Mac- or Linux-based hosts.
