Yesterday we had over 40 farmers join us at Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Clagett Farm for a high tunnel workshop geared towards urban, beginning, and small acreage farmers! Farmers had a chance to hear from experts on all things high tunnel including important structural considerations, IPM (integrated pest management) principles, and maximizing production for profitably. Organizing and hosting events like these isn't just a job perk—it's essential for cultivating a resilient and inclusive agricultural community. Here's to fostering knowledge exchange and empowerment within our farming community!
