#Pets can't be vegan, but we can! DYK humans can get all nine essential amino acids from plant based sources? Vegan diets are kind to wildlife and better for the environment, so we decided to give #Veganuary 2024 a try. Sadly, #dogs risk developing a condition called dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) if they go meatless, but they can (and should!*) enjoy a few servings of fresh fruits and vegetables each week for optimal health. Our owner Ev, gives her dog 7-8 servings.
