This fall, Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business partnered to tackle the real-world challenges social entrepreneurs face drawing meaningful insights from data. Last week, Santa Clara University Master's in Business Analytics students presented their findings and solutions during an award ceremony for the SCU Analytics Showdown, powered by ServiceNow. Under the guidance of ServiceNow mentors, student teams developed data-driven insights into social enterprise Jiro-Ve’s communications with their customers and created a predictive model that forecasts future engagements. Jiro-Ve delivers renewable energy based on solar charged lights to the rural population of Madagascar, 70% of which have no access to electricity. ServiceNow's partnership with Miller Center is helping Jiro-Ve leverage technology and data analytics to improve their efficiency and accelerate their impact across Madagascar.
