The clock is springing forward this Sunday, and if this chicken could talk, I think it would tell us that it is excited to see daylight earlier in the mornings and later in the evenings again ??

We celebrated three of our team members for surpassing 20 and 25 years of excellence at Miller Poultry! Sally has been with us for 20 years! She wears many hats in the company. She is instrumental in tracking our weekly and annual sales numbers. You may know her from calling in as she is the main point of contact for community members. Sally plays a critical role with our community involvement and sponsorships. Carlos has also been with us for 20 years! He works in our pricing department on our 1st shift team. Carlos is involved with one of the last steps of our process, ensuring customers are receiving exactly what they ask for and that our products are meeting our standards before they head to the stores. Cleotilde has been with us for 25 years! She is on our 1st shift tray pack team. Cleotilde ensures our tray pack products, or the products you see on store shelves, are properly positioned and up to our standards before they are sent on to be packaged. We thank Sally, Carlos, and Cleotilde for their loyalty and commitment over the years to Miller Poultry!

Another month has come and gone, and we sure are thankful for a great February! We thank YOU. We thank all the store employees who make the presentation and appearance of our products on the store shelves look enticing and easily recognizable for our loyal customers to find. We thank our loyal customers for trusting who we are and what we do here at Miller Poultry!

Have you ever wondered what we mean when we say that Miller Poultry is a vertically integrated company? To us, vertically integrated means that we oversee every step of our operations. Our hatchery, both feed mills, granary and processing facility are all located in northeast Indiana. Our breeder department is strictly located in southern Michigan and the birds we grow for processing are located throughout northern Indiana and southern Michigan. To help with our carbon footprint, our operations are all located within a 150-mile radius of one another. Just one way we ensure a great-tasting, wholesome product for our consumers to enjoy??

We’re joining in on the fun for National FFA Week with a throwback to National FFA Convention ’24! We look forward to this convention every year. We get to advocate and educate future leaders on the agriculture industry, and specifically on who we are at Miller Poultry and all the career opportunities that we offer. It is so fun to talk to individuals from different states and all the different vendors. We thank those who are involved and promote FFA!

We had a wonderful evening under the stars at the Indiana State Poultry Association banquet ? We always enjoy seeing our fellow Hoosiers and talking about the poultry and agricultural industry. We are thankful for the opportunity to attend such a wonderful event!

With the Super Bowl just around the corner, we thought we’d share a fun fact before you watch the Chiefs and Eagles take the field ???? Thanks to our amazing grain growers, we use over 45,650 acres of corn and soybeans in a year! That is equivalent to about 34,583 football fields…. Whether you’re watching the game or attending the game, think about that for a second- truly amazing! Just one way we work towards putting a wholesome, great-tasting product on your tables.

We are F I V E days away from Super Bowl Sunday! Did you know, according to the National Chicken Council, Americans will eat 1.47B chicken wings for the Super Bowl?? You too can be a part of the crave – Miller Poultry Wings are sure to be a fan favorite and there are so many ways to tailor them to your group! If it’s a nice warm day, keep the heat going by grilling them outside and adding your favorite buffalo sauce. Need something quick and easy- toss them in your go-to BBQ sauce and let them marinate in your air fryer. Or add a nice dry rub and cook them in the oven.
