Last year, Farshid served as the Director-Electrical with IAF, and now he takes on this new role with an inspiring sense of humility and honor. Farshid is deeply committed to serving IAF and all its members, and we couldn't be more proud of his accomplishments. IAF provides a wide range of resources to members such as training, workforce development and peer networking opportunities. On Tuesday, our team had an exciting visit to T-Mobile's Curiosity Lab in Peachtree Corners, GA. Last Friday, Engineers Week (E-Week) kicked off with their annual scholarship lunch at the University of North Florida. When it comes to the electrical apprenticeship, graduation season never ends! Recently, our trade professionals in Gainesville honored sixteen dedicated fifth-year apprentices who have completed their coursework and mandatory field hours, marking the beginning of their new journey in the electrical industry. We are excited to provide an update on a significant project unfolding in our hometown of Jacksonville, FL! We are honored to be part of the ambitious $70 million renovation of the Jacksonville Zoo, which includes a new entryway and the Manatee River, all slated for completion this year. Observed annually on the first Friday of February, National Wear Red Day is dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular disease, a leading cause of death among Americans.
