Military Sealift Command hosted members of the Advanced Study of Air Mobility (ASAM) Course for a visit this week. Fourteen U.S. Air Force majors were briefed on MSC’s mission and future operations to understand the command’s role supporting the joint warfighter in a contested logistics environment. The officers also toured the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS William McLean (T-AKE 12). The ASAM provides a select group of officers with an in-depth education in logistics and air mobility, to develop key mobility advisors to serve on the staffs of the war-fighting commands and prepare future leaders for air mobility operations. #UnitedWeSail #TogetherWeDeliver
