Say hi to Raul, who was diving on MRDs very first dive! ?? This hero was a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom I, and joined the Marine Corps in 1998. Not only does he deal with the hardships of a veteran, but he also dealt with heavy racial discrimination within the Marine Corps. ? Originally from the Dominican Republic, the ocean always called to him, and he wished he had started scuba sooner than he did. Scuba opened a whole new perspective for him, and he feels like he's in the dream every time he's in the underwater world. ? He's happy that MRD gives him the chance to continue scuba diving to ease his stress, learn new scuba tips and tricks, and strengthen the camaraderie between the veterans. ? Thank you, Raul. We will always be happy to have you, help you, and thank you for your service! We're proud to help heroes like yourself. ??
