My dad is a diesel tech, and my brother works in transportation. Their influences led to me obtaining my Class-A CDL and I became an “Over the Road” truck driver. As much as I enjoyed driving a truck, I realized the OTR lifestyle did not afford me the work/life balance I was looking for, especially while raising a young family. I was able to utilize my CDL in the construction industry, which offers great pay while still allowing me to be present for my family. I love the day-to-day variety, as each project is different. I also really enjoy a good challenge, and the construction industry offers plenty! I am able to apply critical thinking skills almost every day, keeping me engaged, and never bored!” ???????? ???? ?????? ???????? ???????? ?????????? ???????? ??????? “I love seeing the finished project, and knowing I had part of something that is going to last long after my career.
