Former PropertyGuru executives Winston Lee and Marine Novita, along with Lau Xin Yuan, have launched a new proptech company called MilikiRumah (Rightkey Capital) in Indonesia. This venture, which means "Owning Home" in Bahasa Indonesia, aims to succeed in the rent-to-own market after PropertyGuru's exit from the country. MilikiRumah closed its seed round at S$2 million and is focused on providing innovative housing solutions. Source: Business Times.

Despite all challenges in Indonesia: we believe that the market is ripe for tech disruption. Winston Lee and Marine Novita who spent years in PropertyGuru find a gap in the market that they can fill with their understanding of consumer, how things work in home financing, deep relationship with the players in the ecosystem, and a little help of AI. MilikiRumah embark on a journey to help Indonesians - with 12.7 million housing backlog- toward home ownership and access to finance.
